Sao Paulo Capital Art Project / Work in progress
This is a personal art project born out of my personal experience in the city of São Paulo.
There's always a duality of love and hate among the people who live there. It’s fast-paced, intense, and expansive, but at the same time, it feels abandoned, impersonal, and uncared for. I wanted to create a stronger connection between both parts with iconic work that showed love and hate for this fascinating city. All the artwork produced is meant to be sold, and part of the money is converted to local NGOs related to the subject of the art.
THE MASP TABLE
The most famous building at Paulista Avenue, designed by Lina Bo Bardi in 1968, has always meant to be a side table since the beginning of its existence.
THE KNIFE RACK
Fiesp. Copan. Torre Paulista. Italia. Ipiranga. Banespa. All classic and historical buildings are located in the heart of Sao Paulo. Now, neighbors and in metallic structure.
